Sky have published their pre christmas live fixtures and City appear in 4 games up to now. Only one of the games mean a change of date though, so as it stands less messing than last season.
Fixture ChangesCity’s pre Christmas, Sky fixtures have now been confirmed and strangely for City they do not involve much changing of dates.City first make a television appearance in the first home game of the season against Keegan’s old club, Newcastle. The game has been moved forward to a 12.15pm ko for the cameras, but remains on the original date of Saturday 24th August. The next appearance is again on the originally announced date. This time it is the fixture at champions, Arsenal. The game remains on the 10th September with an 8pm ko. City then take a break from the cameras until November when the rags come to Maine Road. The game remains on the 9th November with the only change being an earlier ko, like Newcastle it will be 12.15pm. City’s final pre Christmas live game is the only one with a change of date. The game at home to Tottenham, originally scheduled for Saturday 21st December has been moved back until Monday 23rd with an 8pm ko. One more fixture change has also been announced and that also involves Tottenham. The trip to White Hart Lane, originally scheduled for Saturday 19th April 2003 has been brought forward a day and will now be played on Good Friday 18th April with a 3pm ko. Overall the changes announced are not to bad. A word of warning though, the pay per view games are still to be announced so expect a few more changes yet. |
