City chairman, David Bernstein, has been telling the official City site about the huge demand for season tickets both for this season at Maine Road and next at Eastlands.

The club has already sold out it’s 24,000 season tickets for the last ever Maine Road season and has already sold an unbelievable 20,000 for the first season in the new stadium.Such is the demand for tickets that City now boast a waiting list of some 15,000 people, some of who may find that they still can’t get a season ticket for Eastlands. Bernstein told the official site that ideally the club would be looking at a figure of 35,000 season tickets for Eastlands as they still wish to have a percentage of tickets available for the supporters who can’t get to every game or who find they cannot afford a season ticket. Whichever way you look at things it certainly looks as if City will be playing to 48,000 crowds in a little over 12 months time when they complete their move. |
