Williams finalises Hammers switch

"He'll take some replacing but we've been winning games without him, and I will give chances to people in my squad," said Yeovil boss Gary Johnson.

 

West Ham manager Alan Pardew said Williams was vital to the club's bid to "score more goals".

"I'm delighted to have brought a player of his potential to the club," said Pardew.

"He's a wide player with tremendous ability and vision, as well as great determination. He can play on either flank and will offer competition for Matty Etherington and Luke Chadwick."

Pardew, though, warned it would be difficult for Williams "jumping up two divisions and making an instant impact".
