Peace in the SPL ?

Rangers chairman John McLelland says the major differences between the Old Firm and the rest of the Scottish Premier League clubs that threatened to destroy the league have almost been settled.

Speaking at Rangers annual general meeting, McLelland told shareholders that he believed agreement would soon be reached on the majority of the crucial issues.


He added that a Scottish Premier League without an Old Firm presence was "unthinkable". But The Well Experience believes that the Old Firm now realise they need us as much as we need them after the rebel 10 clubs put in their resignation from the Scottish Premier League.

A unamed chairman from one of the rebel ten club's tonight, possibly SPL spokesman, Hearts chairman Chris Robinson said " The matter was far from over."
