This week Aberdeen come calling to Fir Park hoping to pick up the three points after going out to Hertha Berlin in the UEFA Cup on Tuesday.

Motherwell V Aberdeen

After a poor start to the campaign, Aberdeen are now on awinning streak after defeating Livingston and Dunfermline although they are still lacking firepower up front which was their downfall in Europe after failing to score against Berlin in two attemps.

The last game at Fir Park between the two sides took place last November and a unknown player from the reserves ( McFadden )stole the show as we won 3 - 2. Motherwell fans will be happy with any kind of win this weekend. The game also gives Terry Butcher the chance to watch Aberdeen after we drew them in the CIS Cup.

Motherwell Team News
Terry should have a full squad to pick from after Scott Leitch, Stephen Pearson and Daniel Sengewald have returned to full training.

Aberdeen Team News
Kevin McNaghton is still out for Aberdeen but they have no new injury worries and Patritzo Billio reckons he's now fully fit and ready for first team action.

The Official Aberdeen site has run a poll which asked how many points they will get at Fir Park, 85% say three points - Let's prove them wrong !
