Faddy is confident

Motherwell youngster James McFadden is in confident mood ahead of Scotland's clash with Iceland on Saturday after his six goals this season for the Well pushed him into Berti Vogts plans.

The Fir Park forward, promoted from the U21s after the full teams dismal performance against Faroe Islands, said: "I'm hoping I'll get a start in Iceland but I would be happy with a place on the bench.


The 19-year-old said of the Iceland tie: "It would be a massive step for me to play for Scotland in this game.
