Gallacher released

Ex Blackburn, Newcastle and Scotland striker Kevin Gallacher has been released from his contract at English second division side Huddersfield Town in a cost cutting excercise.

Gallacher was rumoured to have been offered a contract at Motherwell earlier this season just before the transfer window closed but he opted for a move to Huddersfield on a non-contract basis.
