Terry's view on hammering

Terry Butcher thinks the 5 - 1 Score Livingston achieved at Fir Park flattered the Lothian side. After Motherwell dominated the first 20 minutes of the match, Livingston went on to win comfortably 5 - 1.

Butcher thinks there are plenty of positives to take from the match and was pleased to see new Algerian striker Khaled Kemas score on his home debut for the first team in the defeat.


Butcher said: "When you look at a 5-1 defeat most people would think we took a hammering but the scoreline isn't a fair reflection of the way the game went." (team talk)
