Partick Thistle Preview

This Saturday we head into Glasgow but it's not against the Old Firm, Partick Thistle are the opposition so for a change we could come home with points. David Partridge will serve the second of his 2 match ban but top scorer James McFadden will return to the first team after serving his suspension.

Our 5-1 drubbing from Livingston last weekend at Fir Park means that we have now gone six league games without a win since we defeated Celtic 2 - 1 back in September but this could be the game Motherwell turn it around with McFadden back in the side we could be too strong for the SPL draw experts. This game is the preverbial six pointer so hopefully Terry will put his young side out to attack.



Faddy returns !


Partick Thistle have had a steady start to thier first SPL campaign picked up a draw away at Tannadice on Saturday to follow their excellent CIS Cup defeat of Dundee last midweek.


But like Motherwell they are starting to pick up injuries and suspensions that will stretch their small squad and could find themselves five points behind us if they lose on Saturday.
