Celtic Preview

Motherwell face their toughest test of the season so far, an away trip to Celtic Park is what awaits Terry Butcher and his young and depleted side on Sunday.

Motherwell haven't won at Parkhead since Billy Davies was manager when a Kevin Twaddle goal gave us a famous win with only 10 men after Shaun Teale was unfairly sent off.



We will be without midfielder Stephen Pearson and defender's Daniel Sengewald and Welshman David Partridge after the trio were sent off against Hibernian last weekend but the good news is captain Scott Leitch will be back from his three game suspension. Last week's injured pair Lasley and Ramsay are expected to be fit for the match.



Celtic go into the match high with confidence beating top Spanish opposition Celta Vigo on Thursday without the help of the referee but we all know that will change on Sunday. Good news for Motherwell fan's is that Martin Appeal is expected to rest some of his top stars and play player's like Fernandez and superkid ( ahem ) Maloney.



The Well Experience Prediction - Even though we're the only domestic side to beat Celtic this season I can't see the home side not dropping any point's and not scoring more than 4 goals. Celtic 5 - 0 Motherwell.
