Celtic 3 - 1 Motherwell

Another game, another defeat but at least this time we can say we put up a fight ( for 45 mins at least ). Eight defeats in a row now leave us stranded at the bottom of the SPL five points behind nearest rivals Dundee United.

The majority of Motherwell fan's who didn't make today's game must have been pleasently suprised when they heard the half time score was 0 - 0 but could it last ? the answer was no, three goals in the second half from Larsson, Valgaren and an OG from captain Scott Leitch killed off any Motherwell resistance until Dirk Lehmann snatched a goal back.

The first time we tested Douglas was on the half hour mark, Steven Ferguson rifling in a left-foot shot that the keeper pushed behind. From that corner Douglas then had another great save from a Martyn Corrigan header. Corrigan was once again Motherwell's best player by far and done well to header a Larsson shot off the goal line.

Our indiscipline was once again highlighted when Shaun Fagan was sent off when he stupidly punched the ball into the net giving the foolish youngster his second yellow card of the day.
