Dundee 1 - 1 Motherwell

A 1 - 1 draw away to Dundee has given Terry Butchers side a three match unbeaten run. Dirk Lehmann scored his sixth goal of the season before Juan Sara equalised for Dundee.

Motherwell arrived at Dens Park without injured trio David Cowan, Keith Lasley and Khaled Kemas. Terry kept the same starting line up that won a point at Pittodrie last week.



Dundee: Speroni, MacKay, Mair, Wilkie, Hernandez Santos, Robb (Rae 58), Smith, Brady (Milne 77), Novo, Sara, Caballero.



Motherwell: Dubourdeau, Quinn, Corrigan, Kinniburgh, Ferguson (Clarkson 75), Adams, Leitch, Fagan, Hammell, Lehmann, McFadden.


Our first chance of the game came in the 20th minute when James McFadden gathered a pass from Scott Leitch, turned inside Dundee defender Robb and shot from the edge of the box but Julian Speroni saved well from.


Lasley is still injured

McFadden terrorised the Dundee defence again, forcing Speroni into a great save, Ferguson hit the rebound towards the goal until Lehmann tapped it into the net to give the visitors the lead. Motherwell's lead only lasted less than ten minutes, Juan Sara getting his second goal of the season, the forward equalised in spectacular fashoin, he got on the end of a Dave Makay cross, kept the ball up and hit an overhead kick past Dubourdeau.

We now have two home game's against Dunfermline and Rangers in the next two weeks with the latter live on BBC Scotland. Terry will only have Shaun Fagan miising through suspension as David Partridge and Stephen Pearson have served theirs.
