Motherwell are back !

Motherwell are back ! that was a shout from an insider at Fir Park. Today's Sun newspaper has reported that Motherwell WILL be coming out of Administration early in the new year.

The report also states that the club will once again be run by owner John Boyle who has written off the 8 Million he ploughed into the club trying to get them to the big time.


Someone from inside the club was quoted as saying "When we come out of administration next month it will give the whole place a huge lift."

John Boyle will run the club for a consortium of local buisnessmen who were hoping to announce the clubs plans before the winter break but with SPL still in turmoil the plan's were put on ice for the moment.


John bought the club in 1998 with a plan to make Motherwell the third biggest club in Scotland, ploughing in enourmous amount's money on big name signing's like Andy Goram from Rangers and John Spencer from Premiership side Everton. Over the coming months manager Billy Davies added experienced striker Don Goodman to his squad, this side almost qualified for europe but the following year saw the same side fight against relegation which saw the team being sold off and this year saw the John Boyle finally admit defeat in his plan to become the third force and called in the administrotors.
