Motherwell head to Tannadice on Saturday on the back of a 1 - 0 defeat a Rugby Park, one which could easily have been prevented.

It will be the preverbial ' 6 pointer ' at Tannadice, only one point splitboth club's at the bottom of the table and the losers could find themselves in big trouble especially Dundee United as they have played one more game than their relegation rivals.

Dundee United will be boosted by the appointment of former Falkirk boss Ian McCall and the recent signings of Billy Dodds, Daniel Chiarini and Gary Bollan unlike Motherwell who's only change in the transfer window was freed Falkirk youngster Steven Craig who should line up against his former boss.( will he make him pay for letting him go ? ) Dubourdeau will join McFadden on the sidelines after his silly sending off midweek against Kilmarnock. Dirk Lehmann and Khaled Kemas are still recovering from injury although Stevie Hammell should return.

The Well Experience Prediction - With their new signings and new manager, Dundee United will prove too strong for us and our weakened forward line should mean we come home with no points. Dundee United 3 - 0 Motherwell
