After yesterdays result Terry Butcher can't beleive his side are incapable of beating their relegation rivals when they have beat title challengers Rangers and Celtic at Fir Park and have also racked up excellent 3 - 0 and 6 - 1 wins over Kilmarnock and Hearts respectively.

After yesterdays game Terry Butcher said " I am very disappointed, but this has been the story of our season. We have not beaten a team in the bottom six yet and that is what is hurting us. We get on fine when we play the better sides, but just can't kill off the teams around us.
"We have to hand credit to United though. They battled hard and played with a real spirit. "
We haven't won a League game since Rangers fell at Fir Park, a similar trend to the results after the Celtic win when we went eleven games, picking up only one point. We ended that run with an incredible 6 - 1 win at Fir Park over the Jambos and Butcher reckons something similar will happen,
he added " I still think someone is going to take a real hiding from us though. "
We now have two home games to try and get off the bottom of the table, Hibs and Celtic visit Fir Park in the coming weeks so lets hope we keep our good record going against the top sides in the SPL.
