Top Players to leave in Summer?

It has been rumoured that James McFadden and Stephen Pearson could be off to Celtic and Birmingham City respectively all us Well Fans can only hope the price is right. More.....

James McFadden could be off to boyhood heroes Celtic this summer as a rumour from a very good source says.

Martin O'Neill seems to be very interested in the Scotland youngster as a long term replacement for Henrik Larsson who is expected to leave when his contract runs out next season.

Celtic could offer a price where Butcher and Jackson couldn't ignore but the question is how much would Celtic offer?

An offer in the region of two million would be acceptable from my point of view but Terry Butcher seems to be holding out for the right price as you can probably remember last September Butcher rejected a £1.8 million offer from Bayer Leverkusen.

Stephen Pearson who scored one of Motherwell's most vital goals in my time watching yesterday is also reported to be offloaded.

"Del Pearo" as the Well Fans call him could be off down south with Birmingham City interested.

These two players have been vital this season and would be sorely missed. Scoring most of our goals between them this season we would be lost without them.

Financial reasons could lead to more players leaving in the summer although we can hope our future being intact because the sales of McFadden and Pearson would bring in about £2 million.
