Former Motherwell striker James McFadden started his first Premiership match for Everton against Leeds and left the pitch to a standing ovation as the Toffees hammered Peter Reids side 4 - 0.
McFadden joined Everton just a month ago and is now becoming a favourite with the Goodison fans after terrific performances against Stockport and Leeds just like all Motherwell fans had predicted. McFadden is the second player to leave Fir Park and play in the Premiership, Andy Goram joined Manchester United from Motherwell in 2001.

The Scotland youngster delivered an electrifying performance for Everton, who were 3 - 0 up before the interval as Watson struck twice and Duncan Ferguson added another.
He was given a standing ovation as he was replaced by Linderoth with four minutes remaining.
