Compensation poll

Now Motherwell look to be coming out of interim administration in the next few months the 10 players who were made redundant will be looking for their compensation, but how much do you think they should receive ?

The transfer fee from the sale of James McFadden to Everton last month ensured the survival of the club and this has started a flood of claims from the players made redundant when the club went into interim administration in April 2002.

Some of the players include -

Karl Ready

Eddie Forrest

Greg Strong

Roberto Martinez

Eric Deloumeux

Kevin Twaddle

Mark Brown

When asked about the situation regarding compensation for those players Bryan Jackson said " We need to make calculations and if a player who is made redundant goes to another club and is earning there then obviously his claim will be mitigated by the earnings during the relevant period. "

Amazingly only 16 % feel the players should get the full amount owed to them. This could be that the same bunch of players have publicly slated John Boyle and Motherwell in the press over the last 18 months.

60 % want the players only to receive a percentage of the money owed.

24 % reckon the players should get nothing from the club as they already have contracts with other clubs.
