Trialist from New Zealand

The official site reports that Motherwell have New Zealander Gerard Davis on trial at Fir Park just now.

The 26 year old is hoping to impress Terry Butcher on Monday night, Gerard is likely to make an appearance for the under 21 side against Rangers at Broadwood.


The left sided Midfielder has 28 caps for New Zealand and is currently without a club. His previous clubs include Eastern Suburbs, University AFC, Howick AFC, Fencibles Utd and Stanford University.




Tynecastle


He has played in Scotland before when he appeared at Tynecastle with his Ntional side against Scotland in the 1 - 1 draw earlier this year.
