Over the past month Stephen Pearson has been linked with a move to Celtic and Premiership clubs since they found out his contract is up at the end of the campaign.
The 20 year old has stated he wants to leave Fir Park for bigger things as soon as possible and a move to Parkhead is the most likely destination.
Celtic are set to offer Motherwell 200,000 for the midfielder who has just been promoted to the full Scotland squad for the upcoming matches against The Netherlands. It's not the first time Celtic have put in a cheeky bid for a Motherwell player, they once offered to take James McFadden on loan ' to find out if he was good enough '.
Motherwell have been trying to convince the midfielder to sign a new contract so the club can receive a bigger transfer fee but so far the player has knocked back any offer made.
How do you feel about this ? The Pride of Lanarkshire asked the Motherwell fans if they would still keep Pearson in the side even though he wants away.
96 % feel Pearson is too good to leave out of the side and since he is the club's top scorer it's hard to argue.
Only 4 % would like to see him dropped from the side after refusing to sign a new contract.
