Transfer window closed

That's the Transfer window closed for another few months so WELL TALK is looking over the moves that went on inside Fir Park.

Phil O'Donnell - Midfielder

Phil had been at Fir Park for a couple of months previous to the trannsfer window. The midfielder was getting his fitness level back up before having to convince Terry Butcher he was worth a contract.


Gary Bollan - Defender / Midfielder

Signed from Dundee United. The veteran defender had fell out of favour at United making only 2 appearances this season in his second spell at Tannadice. The 30 year old could find himself playing in the left mid position at Fir Park.


Scott McDonald - Striker

The Austrailian made a scoring debut in the Scottish Cup tie against St Johnstone last month. Many fans have already rated him as the new ' Dougie '.


Stevie Hammell - Defender

The youngster signed a new deal which will keep him at Fir Park till 2006.

Stephen Pearson - Midfielder



Signed for boyhood hero's Celtic. The 20 year old's form had dipped at Fir Park before his big move leaving many ' Well ' fans angry.


Jamie Ewings - Goalkeeper





While Pearo moved onto a bigger stage, young goalkeeper Jamie Ewings was loaned out to Viewpark junior side Thorniewood United till the end of the season.
