Kenny signs for Blades

Goalkeeper Paddy Kenny has completed a permanent move to Sheffield United after impressing during a loan spell at Bramall Lane from Bury.

He joined at the beginning of the 2002/03 season and has been an ever-present in the Blades good start to their campaign.

He said "Neil Warnock and (assistant) Kevin Blackwell have always displayed a lot of faith in me and have seen fit to offer me a long-term deal.

"I have seen improvement since I came here, he told the club website.
