Who can keep Chester safe

A look at which managers are available, but more to the point, who would come to Chester and would guide them to safety in League Two this season.

There are a number of managers available, but only a handfull who would come to Chester, and even fewer who would actually guide Chester to safety. Below, I name three people I wouldn't mind seeing take over who would possibly come to Chester.

1) John Aldridge. John Has been out of the game since the end of the 2000/01 season when he left Tranmere Rovers after they got relegated. He did however recently apply for the Wales job when Mark Hughes left.
Aldridge was manager at Tranmere for five years before leaving them. He guided them to two F.A. Cup Quater Finals and one League Cup final in his final two years at the club, and also managed respectable league positions in every season except his last at Prenton Park.

2) Joe Kinnear. Kinnear was sacked by Nottingham Forrest late last year after a poor start to the season continued too long and saw them slip into trouble at the bottom of the Coca-Cola Championship.
Joe has managed three clubs in his carear, the other two being Wimbledon (Now MK Dons) between 1992 and 1999 and finally, Luton Town between 2001 and 2003. Never as successful as he could have been, but in his first season as Luton Town manager, he started what now sees them top of League One, by winning them promotion too League One.

3) Brian Talbot. Talbot left Oldham earlier this year, after successful runs in the F.A. Cup, which saw them knock out Manchester City at Boundry Park and a successful LDV Vans Northern Section run.
Brian has managed at Oldham (2004-2005), West Brom (1988-1991) and Rushden and Diamonds (1997-2004). Rushden was where he achieved his only success to date as a manager, winning the Nationwide Conference with them in the 2002/03 season.
