Colin Lee is looking for ideas – off the field.

The attendance issue is now beginning to worry the Manager, who knows that his only real chance of increasing the playing staff is by increasing resources.

Colin has been quoted today as saying:-
"We were down on gates and we are looking for suggestions on how we can make the gate better because we feel that, although we stayed in the First Division last season, the gates have not improved how we would have liked them to have done.
Obviously that has been affected by the stand being built. But what we are trying to do is find ways to involve the crowd prior to kick-off.
We feel that maybe it is a little flat here and that we should look at that area. Perhaps the younger people will come along then because we are entertaining them before games."
He added: "We need to try and introduce new fans to the club. I think this may have been affected by what I would call the 'floating fan' who possibly now has such a choice with West Brom, Birmingham and Villa in the Premier League that maybe the floating fan has gone to the Premier League from here. Somehow we have got to try and bring them back because it is the fans that give you the extra revenue to go out and do things."
