Michael Boulding, who was rumored to be a Walsall target looks set to move to Barnsley. The Tykes are experiencing something of a renaissance lately with Peter Risdale now being the main man at Oakwell. It seems as though Barnsley will stump up the £45,000 that Grimsby want for the former Villa man.

On a brighter note, Colin Lee does seem to be interested in Gary Wales. We are trying to secure another weeks trial for the pacey front man, with a view to taking him on loan.
