It looks as though we are close to an end to the Rangers takeover saga, and I am sure like me you will be glad when it is done.
It would appear the takeover papers are signed between Craig Whyte and David Murray to finally transfer the ownership away from Murray.
The deal has now been ratified by the Stock Exchange confirming Whyte now owns and 85% share in Rangers.
This has been a long running saga that seems to have gone on forever, and it will be certain Rangers fans will be delighted to see the end of the involvement of the Lloyds Bank group with the bank debt finally paid off.
Hopefully in the days to come we will get an idea the plans the man has for the club in the future, how much will be given to Ally McCoist to spend in the summer. Can he ensure there is no fire sale in the summer either and let him hold on to Bougherra, McGregor and the likes.
Celtic fans should fear the worst, if a cash strapped Rangers can win three League titles in a row then what will they do now they are rid of the debt!
