St. Mirren and Inverness have added players to their squads in the last couple of days, plus other rumours.
St. Mirren have signed Paul McGowan on a permanent deal from Celtic after the winger had spent last season on loan to the Paisley club. During that spell he played a large part in keeping the Saints up and should be a good addition to their squad on a permanent basis.
The Saints have also signed striker Nigel Haisselbank from Hamilton Accies to play alongside Steven Thomson who signed up last week. The young striker scored four times for the Accies as they were relegated.
Up at Inverness they have added Gergory Tade to their strikeforce, the former Raith striker scored nine times last season as the Fife side narrowly missed out on promotion. Does this mean the Highlanders know that Adam Rooney is heading out the way.
Other rumours going about today are the possibility of Paul Gallagher returning to East End Park to play in goal for Dunfermline, with stories saying Cammy Bell could be heading from Rugby Park to Paisley to replace him.
Over at Ibrox Rangers have had to ward off potential suitors for Steven Whittaker with Bursaspor being told there is no chance he will be moving to Turkey.
