Another slips through the Rangers net

Rangers target Neill Danss today signed for Leicester becoming the fourth potenatial signing to end up elsewhere

Rangers have already missed out on Dundee United’s Craig Conway and also Israeli striker Tomer Hemed, they have also had bids for Carlos Cuellar knocked back by Aston Villa and Dundee United are looking for more for striker David Goodwillie.

It’s beginning to look like no one wants to sign for Rangers this summer, and they may either have to loosen the purse strings or lower their sights a little!

Rangers had been hopeful of signing attacking midfielder Danns from Crystal Palace and thought they were close to agreeing a deal last week.

Manager Ally McCoist consoled himself by saying: "That's life. There's no point in worrying about things you can't do anything about. We want players who want to play for Rangers."

Today Rangers have been quoted as saying new summer signings are a priority but they way they are going about it doesn’t make it look as though they aren’t all that serious about it.

The season is only just over three weeks away, will it be a panic buy before the season starts!!
