Veteran midfielder Idan Tal has left Bolton Wanderers after just one season to sign a three year contract with current Israeli Champions Beitar Jerusalem.

The 31-year old failed to live up to expectations with the Wanderers following his Bosman move from Maccabi Haifa twelve months ago and now he is being allowed to move  back to his home country due to undisclosed personal reasons.

Bolton manager Sammy Lee was keen to keep the former Everton player as part of his squad for next season's assault on the UEFA Cup.

WALKING DOWN THE MANNY ROAD WOULD LIKE TO THANK TAL FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO BOLTON WANDERERS.
