A Blades Target?

Sheffield United manager Bryan Robson insists that he hasn't spoken to anyone at Bolton Wanderers about Stelios Giannakopoulos amid reports that the relegated Blades where interested in signing the Greek midfield man.

Robson is on the look out for a new attacking midfielder to spearhead United's promotion push back to the Premiership at the first attempt, and whilst he admires the talents of Giannakopoulos he has yet to make his interest in the 33-year old formal.

"Stelios is a good player and of course I would be interested if a good player became available, but I haven't spoken to him." said the former Middlesbrough and West Brom boss

Giannakopoulos, who is currently recovering from a summer hernia operation, has one year remaining on his existing contract at the Reebok Stadium.
