Portuguese teenager Ricardo Vaz-Te has admitted that he was ready to leave Bolton Wanderers earlier on in the season when out of the first team reckoning.

The 19-year old youngster has been involved with the Wanderers first team on a regular basis since the start of December but admitted that leaving the club did cross his mind at one point earlier on in the season when he wasn't playing regularly.

"I must confess it crossed my mind to leave at one point, I wasn't really getting games and it wasn't good enough for me. It has been frustrating but now I have decided to have a go." he told Sky Sports

Vaz-Te has scored three goals so far this season with the turning point coming late on in Bolton's UEFA Cup Group H match away at Vitoria Guimaraes at the end of November.
