United Want Nolan - Report

Arch rivals Manchester United are beleived to keen on adding Bolton skipper Kevin Nolan to their side as a long term replacement for Roy Keane who left Old Trafford for Celtic in the winter transfer window.

Nolan has been in fine form for Bolton all season and is currently the Trotters top goalscorer with nine goals from midfield, this apparently alerting United who will have some considerable money to spend on their squad in the summer.

The 23-year old Liverpudlian has been a professional at the Reebok Stadium since the 1999-2000 season but has come more to the forefront ever since the Wanderers made their return to the Premiership nearly five years ago.

Today's Daily Mail newspaper ran the story but it is highly unlikely that the former England U21 player will be allowed to leave Sam Allardyce's European chasing side.
