Plymouth Albion v Bath
Bath finished 9th in the Premiership last season but with only one point covering places 7th to 10th a single match could have made al the difference to the end of season position.
They have set themselves 5 pre season matches travelling away to four of them. They have already played Newbury on the same day as sending a team to the Middlesex 7s. With many of their 1st team choices from last season, nine of the starts having international caps, they took Newbury to the cleaners scoring 12 tries with a score of 72 to nil. They also named 14 replacements and may well have used all of them.

Before coming to Brickfield Bath will playing hosts to Overmach Parma on Wednesday. The following week they will be sending teams to Rodney Parade, home of Dragons, on Friday and Polson Bridge, home of Launceston, on Saturday 27th.
UPDATE:- Bath do it again this time as they play the Italian side, Overmach Parma, 61 points to nil. Yet again scoring very early in the 1st half. Bath are not going to give us an easy match!!!
With their 72 point to nil win over Newbury I don't expect that Bath will be easy opponents for Albion just because we have one of their ex players, Graham Dawe, in charge.
Starting at full back for Newbury against Bath was Nick Defty who for the first time in a year failed to score a point in a match he started. Last season Nick started 22 matches for Plymouth Albion and Westcountry Warriors with a total of 266 points, including nine tries and two drop goals.
