Albion take on Waterloo twice at Brickfields on Saturday. Ladies meet at 11:30 and the men at 2:15. Forcast predicts stormy weather and high scores.

We now start the return matches even though we have yet to play some teams in the league. Waterloo was the first match which we played in the season and until last weekend was the best result we had.
Not only are the men playing Waterloo at 2:15 on Saturday but the Ladies, who last Sunday came away with a win to second placed Thirsk to take them out of the relegation places, play Waterloo at 11:30. Why not arrive early for the men's match watch what should be an exiting match between the two ladies teams. It is hoped that this will be on the main pitch but if not it will be up on the top field.
Waterloo Men's team sit right at the bottom of the table having only won two matches in the 12 match campaign so far. the two teams they have beaten are Cornish Pirates and Otley. That was one match at home and one away and they have the lowest number of bonus points in the league with just a single point which they took against London Welsh in September.

Third placed Plymouth Albion, take on bottom of the table Waterloo at Brickfields looking to keep the pressure on the top two who they trail by two points.
Plymouth Albion are going for a fifth straight win since losing narrowly at Nottingham. At Brickfields this season they have a perfect record with six wins out of six although they have only picked up two four try bonus points in those wins which is a bit disappointing.
Waterloo are a bit of an enigma with wins over the Cornish Pirates, at home, and Exeter Chiefs, away, being their only two wins of the season. They have conceded heavily this season nearly 100 points more than anyone else. They are the only side not to have picked up a four try bonus point in the division so far this season.
Prediction: Comfortable home win for Albion against Waterloo by
18 points.
Rugby Round up
Since defeating Rotherham at the start of the month Albion have had two easy victories
against teams from the lower reaches and should make that three here. Waterloo have
sunk to the bottom of the league and just cannot stop teams scoring against them.
Albion’s 100% record at the Brickfields will continue with a
40 point victory.

There are no such thing as easy matches as Cornish Pirates know but Albion should be looking at coming away with 5 points fro the table. With all four top of the table clubs playing clubs in the bottom five there is unlikely to be any change to the top of the table this weekend.

Nigel Cane is not fit and it is possible that Martin Rice will also not be fit. This mixes up the Props and could give Tim Matias his first start of the season. The rest of the team seems to be the same as last couple of weeks.
With the speed of our two likely wings, Tom Arscott and Nic Sestaret, along with the strength of the pack if Albion play like they did at the start of the second half at Moseley we should be in for an exciting high scoring match.
Albion now sit with the best defensive line in the league as far as the points scored against states and you again would hope that this is still the case after the weekend.
