Bring yourself up to date with the progress on the Redrow stand. What has been done and when it should be ready. The Redrow stand is long awaited but work is on it's way and should be completed during the closed season. 1150 places to stand high above the pitch.

Stand on it's way up. If you check the scale against the man on the cherry picker you can see how big it will be. It will hold 1150 standing or 800 seated when converted to an all seater for Premiership! |

Steel work for the capping of the first pile. Concrete expected to be laid on Monday 30th April |

The wall in the photo is thought to have been built around the 1860's and is probably the boundary (escarpment) wall to the barracks, there were old parts of the barracks dug up when the West stand was built. |

The pilling work has started. Don't forget to look out for the man in the hut on Saturday. |

Site levelling has commenced and the top soiled has been removed. Pilling should start this week so you should be able to see some changes when you attend the Nottingham match. If you do look out for the quantity surveyor at the portacabin window, he was there at the Pirates match so we can increase the record attendance by 1 |
| 3rd April | Work on construction has been suspended until Bank Holiday Monday or Tuesday so that the large crowd expected for the Pirates match will have the best possible vantage points. |

The site buildings have been erected in preparation for the main building works to be started soon. |

Work is now on it's way. The flood light that was needed to be moved for the sports track has been moved and re wired. The main contractors will be on site later today and the 19 week contract starts as of today. While work is being carried out on the spectators should still be able to stand in front of the building work so this should not cause a problem for the last 4 home matches of the season |

| 3rd March | Looks like there has been no progress on the stand, but a lot of work has been going on behind the scenes. The service road has been constructed which will enable the heavy machinery to be brought on site as and when it is needed. Some problems have been found with the original planned foundations. This also required archaeology work to have been performed before we could move forward. All the required work has been completed to enable the way forward for the foundations to be agreed and approved. The contractors are tied to a 19 week program meaning that once they arrive on site they are required to complete within the 19 week period. When the start date was set for January the stand was never going to be available for use this season as it would be finished over the summer months. It is now expected for the for work to start before the end of this month which will mean that the stand will be fully completed at the end of July or the first week in August. This will be in time for the pre season matches for the 2007/8 season.
