Redrow Homes have come on board to help build the new East Stand.
Ready for a standing start!

Sandra Dixon, sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West) signs the cheque that brings the total raised so far to 70% of that required to complete phase one of the new East Stand. The new stand will be known as "The Redrow Homes East Stand"
Louise Kessell, sales and marketing manager at Plymouth Albion is delighted to have Redrow onboard and their long term support which will last at least 5 years. Redrow also plan to help with the Healthy Eating Campaign and other local community work. Plans for bringing their hot air balloon and bouncy castles to Brickfields are also being made to improve the family friendly feel of the club.
Whilst the club now has 70% of the money, it will still need to raise the remaining 30% to pay for the stand. Albion appreciates all the support it has had from individuals and says that there is sufficient money to start the building work. The ground preparation work should start in the next few weeks but Albion are at present unwilling to specify a completion date.
Albion would like to assure its supporters and season ticket holders that adequate facilities will be provided, it will depend how far ahead the contractors are at the beginning of the season as to what will be provided. The Redrow Homes East Stand will complement the West Stand that has been provided by the Devonport Regeneration Company, Plymouth City Council and Sport England. The two stands will move the club closer to the ground requirements for entry into the Premiership.
Director of Rugby Graham Dawe took time out from training and testing potential new players to celebrate the injection of cash for the new stand by cracking open a bottle of bubbly with Louise, Sandra and attending press. Lets hope by the end of the season we are all celebrating Plymouth Albion's position in the table.
Redrow Homes have recently been chosen by national regeneration agency English Partnerships to carry out the regeneration of the South Yard Enclave in Devonport, so their name will be around in the area for some time to come.
