This is a proper Prem Cup selection from both teams. Basednonly on my heart Ex 32 Bath 26.

So disappointed to see WHW and not Harris at FB and the young Aussie winger Poyton not featuring he scored on debut for Pirates a couple of weeks ago and Baxter said we would see him in the Prem Cup. I would have also started Batson over Hammersley, he looks to have so much potential and an England U20 international. Bath have a number of forwards who have featured in their first team including Green who looks a fab no 8 in the making, plus their 9 and 10 have Prem experience.
Should be a good game probably high scoring finger in the air guess Chiefs 36 Bath 35

Solid looking Bath side but think we'll have the edge.
Chiefs 30 Bath 25.

Recognising the points above - and largely in agreement - its good to see some fresh faces, and give the first 15/23 a rest. I'm looking forward to this possibly more than a regular league game.
Chiefs 42 : Bath 28 - relying on good home crowd 🤞
In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.

Hoorah, both clubs have put out sides that surely represent the ethos of the competition ,..........
at least for this round!
Whatever the result there stands a chance, for the most of us RUGBY supporters, of seeing a decently contested game.
On paper Bath probably have a little bit more senior experience in the scrum, and some interesting youth in the backs. Donoghue in particular.

Delighted to see a proper Prem Cup selection from both clubs. It'll be great to get a glimpse of some of the new faces as well as some of the youngsters we haven't seen enough of yet. I'm just as excited to come and see this match as I would be seeing our first teams playing.
Chiefs 31; Bath 26

Really difficult result to call as ive no feel at all for the quality of some of the Bath selection and its difficult to know how well connected this chiefs side will be, but I guess they've been training together as a squad for a while.
Does anyone know if Haydn is taking full charge of this competition or whether its a combined effort with Rob?
Its already been said, but i too would have preferred to see Sam Harris start and my reservations about WHW and Ben Hammersley aren't dispelled simply because its the Premiership Cup. Theyre both capable of great performances and i hope that this is one of them, but its overdue now imo.
Im putting a finger in the air and going Chiefs 40 Bath 30 although its based on loyalty and hope more than anything more scientific.
Im delighted to see some of these younger guys given some meaningful game time though, irrespective of the result.
