Nottingham Forest have snubbed two bids for left winger Kris Commons from Championship sides Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City. The dynamic winger’s contract expires at the end of the current season, but the Reds are yet to sway on their ‘no sale’ policy.

Both Wolves and Leicester have reportedly had bids in the region of £500,000 rejected for Commons, 24, who signed a one-year extension to remain at the club in the summer of 2007.

His asking price is said to be in excess of a million.

The club is understand to have already snubbed preliminary talks with Crystal Palace over a move for Nathan Tyson.

Rumours were rife in the build up to the January transfer window, with Tyson, Commons and even defender Luke Chambers linked with moves to greener pastures.

But as the Reds continue to struggle in making their own acquisitions, they are reluctant to release their prize assets.
