If Everton boss David Moyes has anything to do with it then there is no way possible that Joleon Lescott will be leaving Goodison Park.

The defender has been linked with a big money move to Manchester City over the last few months, £20 million has been the amount of money said to be what Citeh are willing to part with to get their man.

There has also been speculation that Lescott would be interested in a move to the City of Manchester Stadium.

But Moyes assured shareholders at a forum at Goodison on Wednesday night none of his players will be available in the transfer market this summer."I have already said there will be no players sold at Everton and I do not feel I need to say any more," said the Everton boss.

"The board have never sold a player from me, it will only be at my discretion. I said it at the end of the season and I do not need to say any more."

Chairman Bill Kenwright backed his manager, adding: "There is no pressure on David to sell anyone. Any decisions are his and his alone."
