Everton are set to sign Swedish midfielder Rasmus Elm after he paid a visit to the club.
Elm's current club, Kalmar FF, said at the weekend that Everton had shown an interest in the 21 year old, no doubt David Moyes would have seen the player impress during the European Under 21 Championship last month.
And although there are more clubs interested in acquiring his services, it’s Everton that are now in pole position to get their man.
Elm's agent, Patrick Mork, has admitted the player would be interested in a move to Goodison Park.
"For sure Everton is an interesting option for Rasmus," Mork told skysports.
"Everton asked him to visit the club last Friday and everything was positive at Everton.
"Of course it would be interesting for Rasmus to play in England, but he has a lot of options.
"There has been a lot of interest in Rasmus and he also has other options in England.
"Rasmus is regarded as one of the best players in Sweden in the last 20 years - that is his reputation.
"He is a special player and he has a big decision to make."
