News: Everton must wait on Elm decision

Sweden international Rasmus Elm is in no rush to decide on his future just yet even though he has visited Goodison Park recently.

Elm was shown around the club’s facilities and it was speculated that the Kalmar FF starlet would be on his way to Everton before the start of the new season.

But Elm says that his current objective is to help his club qualify for the Champion’s League, not decide where he wants to play next.

"The visit came suddenly and we've had two matches since," Elm told Sportbladet.

"I don't want to rush the decision. I have had to focus fully on Champions League qualification.

"I will continue to think about it and I might make a decision in a week or so.

"Kalmar have played down speculation bids of £6million have been tabled, stating they have rejected all offers to date.

Liverpool and Liga outfit Valencia are also said to be interested in the player.
