Snippet: Everton miss out on Cana

Everton have lost any chance they had of signing Marseille captain Lorik Cana as the player prepares to sign for Premier League rivals Sunderland.

French publication L’Equipe claims that the 25 year old is about to join the Black Cats for a 6 million fee.

The Albanian international has been a target of one or two Premier League clubs, Arsenal being one who were interested when the player was still at Paris Saint Germain.
