Everton Captain Phil Neville has let his feelings be known about Manchester City’s hunt down of Joleon Lescott and they are not happy ones.
Twice City have tried to prise Lescott from Everton and twice the club have turned down their offers of £15 and £18 million, now the Toffees are braced for a third bid rumoured to be around the £22 million mark, and this has upset Neville. He said: “The club have turned down two offers and the manager is not prepared to sell him,” said Neville.
“Let’s move on and let’s look forward to the new season.
“Will City get the message? The way they are going about their business, I don’t think they will.“There are ways and means of doing things and Everton do it the right way.”
