Snippet: Poulsen linked with both Everton and Liverpool

There are reports this morning that Everton and our very dear neighbours are going to go head to head in an attempt to land Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen.

Lee Anderson, Poulsen's English representative, says that both Merseyside clubs have expressed an interest in the player.

"It's complicated trying to find a club for Poulsen in England," Anderson told Tuttosport.

"The most recent interest has been from Liverpool and Everton, clubs that would be able to afford the player.

"We have spoken, but it was preliminary contacts which have not developed."
