Rumour: Everton in for Celtic's Brown?

There have been reports this morning that Celtic star Scott Brown is the subject of a potential £8m swoop by Everton manager David Moyes.

Moyes is supposed to have had the player watched during Celtic’s defeat to Arsenal last night at the Emerates Stadium.

And Moyes now has the funds after selling Joleon Lescott to Manchester City.

It has been reported that Everton were previously approached by an agent who offered the club both Brown and McManus - but Moyes' side said they were not interested at the time but that situation has now changed.
