Bernard Mendy is confident Hull can survive

Hull Defender Bernard Mendy is confident that the Tigers will follow in the footsteps of his previous club and stay in the premier league this season. The defender was signed from PSG this summer after is contract ran out said "When I went to Bolton they were?how do you say?...not a fashionable club, not a big club
"They were looking to get established in the Premiership. They had a new stadium and many new players but I think a lot of people thought they would be relegated.
"But they kept their place and now, they are still in the Premier League. The same thing can happen here. It is all new but there is definitely the potential.
"I believe Hull has a great chance of staying in the Premier League. There are some very good players here. If we work hard, then anything is possible.
"I am here for three years and at the end of that I would love Hull City to still be a Premier League club."
Since the end of last season, the Tigers have brought in no fewer than 12 new players from various countries around the world, but Mendy says there have been no problems with any of them settling in.
"Sure, there are a lot of different accents but we have no trouble. Just about everyone speaks English. My English is okay but it could be better. The new players, like me, have been made to feel very welcome.
"We all get along. We know 'Deano' (Dean Windass) is the king here. King Deano! He's a very good guy.
"But all the players are good. Sometimes it's not easy?a new club, a
different country, but there have been no problems. The manager has
been very good and so have the rest of the staff."
Many Hull fans will be hoping Mendy is right and that their can remain in the premiership for more then 1 season
