t was a good weekend on the international front for Tigers defender Kamil Zayatte, whose goal helped Guinea to a 3-2 win against Kenya. Zayatte netted in the 71st minute to put his country 3-0 up, although late goals from the visitors meant a nervy finish. The victory meant Guinea topped their group in the second qualifying round for the 2010 World Cup.

Peter Halmosi also had an enjoyable weekend as he played 90 minutes for Hungary in their 2-0 win against Albania.

It was a quiet weekend for Boaz Myhill and Sam Ricketts. Both were unused substitutes as Wales beat Liechtenstein 2-0 at the Millennium Stadium. The pair will now hope to be involved when Wales travel to Germany on Wednesday.
