Brown delighted with clean sheet

Manager Phil Brown was left very happy with his sides clean sheet against West Ham. Although he feels his team showed West Ham too much respect in the 1st half he was delighted the way his team responded in the 2nd. "I'm ecstatic with the clean sheet," said Brown.

I like one-nils, although I know the fans won't. But one-nils get you three points and if you keep a clean sheet against quality opposition, you have got a chance of winning the game.

"We've scored from another set-piece. Can we survive on set-pieces this year? Not entirely and we need to provide a little bit more quality with the ball.

"We changed one or two things at half time on Sunday and decided to get more into West Ham's faces higher up the pitch.

"I felt we were dropping off too much and paying them a little bit too much respect in the first half. Consequently, they were causing us problems.

"After the break, Daniel Cousin and Marlon King started engaging their two centre halves a little bit earlier and that made things a little bit easier for our midfield three, who I thought were getting picked off in the first half."

Brown said there was a real buzz in The Tigers dressing room after the win.

They went in, put the music on and started dancing. I've never seen it before in my life!

"Football has changed over the years, there's no doubt about it. People are now dancing in the changing room, so you don't have to do a warm down anymore.

"There's a great atmosphere at the moment and long may it continue."
