Barmby wants Brown and Hull stay

Nick Barmby wants to stay at Hull and Wants manager Phil Brown to also remain at the KC stadium. Barmby's current contract ends at the end of the season. "Without a doubt I want to stay - you still want to be involved," said Barmby."I still feel fine, I've just got to keep fit. At the end of the day you get paid to play and be fit and around the place.

"I have got no problem with that, but I love it here and I want to play as long as I can here."

On Phil Brown, Barmby said 

"He has said he still has a job to do here. That is great for the club and we are very lucky to have him.

"Look at what he has done. He has been fantastic. He kept us in the Championship when we looked like getting relegated two years ago, then he got us promoted to the Premier League.

"Now look at what he is doing in the top flight and it just goes to prove he is a fantastic, up-and-coming manager.

"He has a three or four-year plan, but the main thing for us is to stay in the Premier League."
