Look back at 2008 part 2

A look back at the year part two. this a look at Hull's 1st 20 games in the Premiership. From the highs of beating Arsenal to the lows of been beaten 4-1 at home to Sunderland.

August: Hull started their 1st ever Premiership season at home to Fulham. Geovanni scored Hull's 1st ever Premiership goal and Craig Fagan scored the winner in a 2-1 win. Hull then travelled to Blackburn where their drew 1-1. Hull then lost to Swansea in the League Cup Jordi Gomez scoring the winner in injury time. Then the reality of the Premiership seemed to have hit when Hull lost 5-0 at home to Wigan. Hull finished their 1st month in the league in 10th place with 4 points from their 3 games.

September: Hull were unbeaten in September winning 2 and drawing 1 of their 3 games, First beating Newcastle 2-1 at St James park. Hull then drew 2-2 with Everton after leading 2-0 . Hull then travelled to the London to play Arsenal and got one of the best results in the clubs recent history beating Arsenal 2-1. Arsenal took the lead through an own goal by Paul McShane. Hull hit back though with a Geovanni Wonder strike before Daniel Cousin scored the winner. Hull ended the month in 6th place with 11 points from 6 games. Phil Brown also won Man of the Month.

October: The tigers won 3 of 4 games in October. First Hull returned to north London were their took on Tottenham and beat them 1-0 thanks to another Geovanni wonder strike. Hull then beat west Ham 1-0 and west Brom 3-0 before taking on Chelsea at the Kc stadium. Unfortunately Hull lost 3-0 but gave a good account of themselves.Hull finished October in 5th with 20 points from their 10 games.

November: Hull didn't win a game in the whole of November losing 2 and drawing 3 . Hull travelled to Old Trafford where their lost 4-3 after been 4-1 down again giving a good account of themselves against 1 of the big 4. Bolton then beat Hull 1-0 at the Kc before a run of 3 draws against Manchester City,Portsmouth and stoke. Hull ended November in 6th place with 23 points from 15 games.

December: Hull started November with a much needed win against Middlesbrough a 85th minute Marlon king penalty was enough to ensure a 2-1 win. A 2-2 Draw with Liverpool at Anfield followed before heavy defeats to Sunderland and Manchester City. Hull ended the year with a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa. The result meant Hull have won only a 1 of their last 11 games, Worrying form going into the new year. Hull ended the year in 8th with 27 points from 20 games.
